Our Application

Our application process is designed to find the best in every student, so we do not have a set application that everyone completes.

Required

  • Transcript

    We require a school transcript, but depending on your schooling situation, it may not be applicable.

  • Tour

    We also require a tour. This does not mean that you need to interview, but we want prospective students to get a sense of what it is like to be a student here. We are also looking to see how interested and engaged you are with the program.

  • Recommendation Letter(s)

    We want to get to know you and the way you learn, so we require 1-4 recommendation letters. Try to find people who really know you. These do not need to come from teachers, just no family please.

Optional

  • Full Interview

    In person on tour, or via video call later

  • Portfolio

    Digital/mailed submission of art, maker projects, design, or creative writing. Video submission of speech, dance, or film also accepted.

  • Writing

    Complete the writing supplement of our application

  • Testing

    SSAT or ISEE (we also accept other types of testing like CTY/gifted testing, so contact us to check about alternatives)
